The Department of Planning Industry and Environment has engaged WaterNSW to prepare a Final Business Case to explore the option of building a two-way pipeline between Lake Rowlands Dam and Carcoar Dam. This would transfer water when appropriate volumes are available, provide efficient, long- term water storage and increase operational flexibility for urban and rural water supply. It will also contribute to improving water access reliability for the region and industries.
