Sustainability

Comacon delivers our consultancy services for our clients based on sustainability best practices. We have a strict screening process for suppliers and subcontractors to ensure conduct is ethical and responsible. We help our clients raise public awareness about the environment and sustainability by developing communication strategies or activities that promote the clients’ environmental and sustainability actions/innovations to local communities.

Sustainability in infrastructure projects cover several areas including planning and design, road user safety, access to local businesses and property, and the reuse and recycling of timber. In many infrastructure projects, Comacon’s Community Engagement staff work closely with Environmental and Sustainability teams to ensure that noise, dust, and water pollution are assessed, minimised, and managed effectively in the community. This is to reduce the impact of the construction work to residents and to find the most appropriate solutions for stakeholders.

In line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Comacon is committed to promoting good sustainability practices, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities. Comacon abides by its 20 Sustainability Commitments which were developed through team collaboration and agreement. All Comacon staff agree to follow these commitments while they are in the office and at the client’s projectsites.
