Donna is a stakeholder/community engagement and communications professional with over 30 years’ experience. Donna specialises in infrastructure, natural resources/energy and governance projects and has worked on over 200 infrastructure, natural resources and energy projects throughout her career.
Donna is the Managing Director and founder of Comacon, but she is very much a working consultant. She leads both the Community Engagement and Wellbeing divisions for Comacon and is currently working on developing and implementing a number of groundbreaking community (including delivery team) wellbeing plans for major infrastructure and energy projects.
Donna was also one of the of the founders and co-chairperson of the National Community Engagement for Infrastructure Forum (NCEIF) and is a current member of the IAP2 Australasia Advocacy committee. Donna is strong advocate for community wellbeing to be a focus of infrastructure planning and has delivered a number of keynote addresses on the topic.
With a background in psychology and planning, Donna brings a full suite of skills to community engagement and wellbeing planning, implementation and leadership.
Donna is also a published author (Shine was released in 2023 and her next book will be released in late 2024) and a wellness warrior. She hosts the SHINE podcast, the SHINE blog and is in demand as a keynote speaker.
As well as her passion for community and personal wellbeing, Donna is an avid sportswoman. She is a retired netballer, a current football (soccer player), a netball coach and sits on the boards of numerous sporting organisations.
